World Vision
Update -
We just sent Jugers a
Flight Discovery Kit to send him back to school on a high note.
He received an annual update:
Jugers has 2 brothers and
was promoted to 4th grade. He is currently being treated for
kidney problems. World Vision has helped his community with
School Hygiene and Quality Education. Last year he learned
about obedience and honesty.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
JUGERS:
He wakes up at 7am and had
dairy for breakfast. He walkes to school that is 20 minutes
away. School starts at 8am and ends at noon. His classes at
school are: Art, Maths, and Language. He likes to play football
and hide and seek. He completes his homework from 5pm to 6pm
and goes to bed at 9pm. Summer vacation is from June 15 until
September 15. During this vacation he goes to visit family and
plays with his friends.
Some of the things that
have been accomplished in Albania during 2010:
-
Christian Commitments - Our team in Tirana
ADP, has developed good relationships with churches in both
of the areas where we work. We see our partnership with the
church as key to learn and be encouraged as we serve our
communities for the glory of God!
-
Bringing Christmas back to Albania
Some 300 children from Bathore area,
participated in this program with songs, dancing, poetry,
which was organized with the local church of Bathore.
-
Education - Thanks to our education project
World Vision worked with teachers, schools and communities
to improve their learning outcomes, to achieve quality
education for all children, to build confidence and to
empower children and youth through value-based skills.
