No Federation Meeting in March!!  Next meeting will be in April. Be sure and read your Clover for Federation plans including the St. Louis Cardinal/4-H Day on
May 22.   Contact the Extension Office for ticket information.     

March 10, 2010:   Monthly 4-H meeting at the Extension Office in Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m.  We will be having a PIZZA PARTY!!   BEREA AG WON A PIZZA PARTY FOR DONATING THE MOST FOOD FOR THE MORGAN COUNTY 4-H FOOD DRIVE!!  Pat yourselves on the back.    Pizza will be delivered to the Extension Office so no supper before the meeting.    Also, refreshment people (Della, Hayley, Jenna and Jordan), you will not need any paper products.   Just provide the usual drinks and goodies.   There will be a guest speaker.    Talks and demonstrations:  Cassie, Cerys, and Brooke plus any make up talks/demonstrations can be brought to the meeting.   Recycling Committee:   Kyle and Hayley need to bring their ideas to the meeting.  March Birthday:   Evan.  Jordan and Evan need to remember to bring a Health and/or Safety talk.   

Enclosed you will also find a sheet that lists “Soldier’s Wants & Needs List”.   This is the information provided by Katie and Austin from their FOOD BASKET committee.   We will collect things at the March meeting and will schedule a time to go to the Franklin United Methodist Church and help pack the boxes to be sent to our soldiers.   Please be prepared to sign up to help with this community project and set a date when you can attend.  We are looking at March 16, 23, or 30.   We will vote on a date at the March meeting.   It is also noted that soldiers REALLY enjoy getting letters!

NOTES AND REMINDERS:   Quality Assurance and Ethics Training will be available for access on-line after February 1^st.   If you need to complete this, please check your 4-H Clover for additional information.   Also, if you are interested in the new Shooting Sports Information

project, read your clover.   This sounds like a project some of you might be interested in.  

Also be sure and look over project and rule changes that are listed in the 4-H Clover.   We will go over these at the meeting but make sure you understand those that affect you and bring any questions you might have.
